Deal was done between top European sides and UEFA in order to provide players an extra days recovery ahead of weekend fixtures.

I can see Friday night fixtures being decent craic in Belfast but this would lead to a change in emphasis for SNISC abroad.

Does Saturday still stay football for all day? Do we keep fcuk him all Fridays and is Thursday still beastiality day?

Apparently all Wed games will now be on The Tuesday

Games that wee due to be played on the Sat ..... I believe it is up to the FA's to decide wheter the game remains on Sat or gets moved to the Friday Night.

The following 12 dates are reserved for group matches in qualifying:
a) 3/4 and 7 September 2010
b) 8/9 and 12 October 2010
c) 25/26 and 29 March 2011
d) 3/4 and 7 June 2011
e) 2/3 and 6 September 2011
f) 7/8 and 11 October 2011

if you had the choice you would surely want the max amount between the two games so choose the friday night. A right bollocks for time off and flights.

I can see the Faroes being next June too..

There are positives though. Friday nights at Windsor are surely going to be mayhem (though the polis are unlikely to be too keen having us at the same time as the egg-chasing.)

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but if we have an away on a Friday night we can get cheap flights back on the Saturday afternoon. And then you've got all Sunday to recover.

The other countries will also be thinking the same

The Weather all year round seems to be near enough the same anyway. June is just a bit drier

I have set up my mobile to get the information as soon as it is released from Jim Rainey. If I am beside my laptop I will put up the fixtures immediately. Im in class from 3-6 so if they are released during this time then I do apologise

At this stage I was thinking of coming back in April for the old boys 60th. Might just slide the dates forward a bit and either do Serbia away or just for the home game

Apart from the pitch being sh*t due to rain earlier in the week the conditions on match day were perfect.

But yes the Faroes could be interesting
